La Fête Nationale
Last June 24, the Province of Quebec celebrated the most important Holiday for Quebecers, La Fête Nationale du Québec. Originally to commemorate the nativity of St. John the Baptist, but nowadays is to celebrate this beautiful province and its cultural contribution to the country and the American Continent, and being the cradle of French in Americas Continent.
This was a busy day for our guides, many people come to visit Montreal to experience this celebration, and the best way to do it is through locals. A total of 150 people joined the special events and private tours Ton Ami (e) and the crew of guides organized for this day. It was simply amazing.
The day started with a brunch in some of the best local restaurants in Montreal. Once batteries were full, the day continued to explore the major events in the city for this day. In the afternoon, a nice BBQ took place in the park, La Fontaine. The day finished with the magnificent concert organized by the City of Montreal at Place des Arts.
